![]() The song itself borrows heavily from 'Land Of 1000 Dances' which is associated with Wilson Pickett and Fats Domino, it also samples the bassline of 'Heartbeat' by Taana Gardner. Then in 1994 Kamoze released the single 'Here Comes The Hotstepper', originally recorded for producer Fatis Burrell it was adapted and remixed by Salaam Remi and was initially featured on the compilation 'Stir It Up' on Epic Records. Later he released '16 Vibes Of Ini Kamoze' which was essentially a 'Best Of' album. The self-titled E.P contained the songs 'Trouble You, Trouble Me', 'General' and the acclaimed 'World-A-Reggae Music', the riddim of the latter becoming one of the most popular in Jamaica during the 80's dancehall era and the song was sampled in recent times by Damien 'Jr. Kamoze cut his first singles around 1982 with producer Newton 'Sipho' Merrit and although these weren't huge sellers his debut E.P (recorded with Sly and Robbie) was picked up by Island Records.
